Haveri police arrested a man following a complaint from a woman who alleged that he pressured her for sexual favours and threatened to share her private photos and videos on social media if she did not comply. The complaint also alleged that the accused used the material to blackmail and harass her. His wife was booked separately over allegations of issuing threats against the woman’s husband. Police registered a case at the Haveri CEN Crime Police Station and said further investigation was underway.
